USSSA Rules

Per their official rule book, the USSSA allows most bats constructed of wood, aluminum, or any other material at their sole discretion. The diameter must not exceed 2 ¾” and the maximum length must not exceed 35 inches.

Any material to improve the grip cannot exceed 18 inches from the end of the bat.

All bats for age division 4U – 14U that exceed the 1.15 BPF (Bat Performance Factor) may be disqualified by USSSA at their sole discretion.

For the 15U-18U divisions, USSSA follows the NFHS bat standards. You can find those here.
